1. No structure of any kind other than that of bonafide camping equipment is acceptable. Items of furniture and equipment used, shall generally be of a type designed for camping and outdoor use. Members must maintain their equipment in a clean, serviceable condition, and the equipment should be of a pleasing appearance in accordance with the club’s standard of camping.
  2. Should trenching be required, due to inclement weather, turfs must be carefully removed and replaced when striking camp.
  3. Damage to Trees & shrubs. The cutting of initials, throwing of knives at the bark or breaking of branches is not allowed.
  4. Vehicles must be parked, as indicated, in organised sites. Indiscriminate and careless driving is forbidden.
  5. Children under 18 may camp only in the charge of a parent or responsible adult.
  6. Rubbish: Each camper must keep his site tidy.
  7. Dress: The mode of dress must not be offensive to fellow campers or local residents.
  8. Dogs & other Pets: In the interests of fellow campers, no pets or animals of any kind are permitted.
  9. Musical Instruments & Noise: Radios, gramophones and other instruments must cause no nuisance to other campers. Excessive volume should be avoided at all times. There should be no loud talking or noise in camps between 11pm and 7am.
  10. Trespassing on land adjacent to sites is forbidden and fires may not be lit without authority.
  11. Infectious diseases: No person suffering from any may camp on authorised sites.

International Campers Code

  1. Camp on private land in preference to wasteland and do not forget to ask permission. Obey all regulations of site owners or local authority.
  2. Fires: Light no wood fires without permission, Break no hedges or trees for firewood. Avoid the throwing of lighted matches or cigarette ends near dry grass or bushes. Take special care near forests and plantations. Be very careful in the use of stoves.
  3. Refuse: Do not leave litter anywhere. Place rubbish in receptacles or otherwise dispose of it adequately.
  4. SANITATION: The utmost care must be taken in the matter. ANY MEMBER FOUND NEGLIGENT IN RESPECT OF SANITATION WILL BE EXPELLED.
  5. COUNTRY COURTESY: Use courtesy in all dealings with local people. Leave all gates as you find them. Do not damage fauna, flora or crops. Respect the privacy of others – both in and out of camps. Remember that your conduct will influence the reception of others who follow the integrity of the camping movement.
