Was it never going to stop raining!!! The new pensioners arrived early (by our standards) at about 2pm with the weather closing in only to find that the tent pole that was to be repaired after the winds at Marlon was still sitting in the house.

This site has earned itself a loyal New Year following, most of whom are happy to go back again this year. The weather is a lot warmer, so the trees are in great demand. However, as hot as the days are, the nights are apparently quite pleasant, even somewhat cool, so do bring those jerseys and blankets. This seems to be a relaxing break, with tea and cake being the highlight of the day, but there is plenty of space if you prefer to take a jog, go for a walk or ride a bicycle.

Publications: I have received a couple of enquiries regarding Silver Streams for Christmas / New Year Rally. It is time for individuals to book and they book directly with the park. Decision time to whether a club rally ? The committee left it to late last year to advise members and thus the poor attendance. We simply cannot state that due to lack of participation last year this year cannot be a rally. a lot of families enjoy the venue. Graeme Dibben
